Response to case study scenario 1

Before I rush to my final decision I must think what will be the consequence if I ignore the problem? Does ignoring this fault have an advantage or disadvantage? Obviously it has severed disadvantage. So what will be the factors of the possible effect?
• Future problem: if I can not tackle with this error the out come of the problem will affect me as well as the society.
• Business sector: If these safety test problem are not solved quickly, it will result for faulty products to be distributed in the global market which would have a detrimental credibility for the company to success in the global marketplace.
• Employment matter: what ever small in percentage the failed safety test, if I mixed with the good staff and import them to our clients then our clients also will sell to their customer. Definitely the customers will blame to our clients. As our company is the source the clients will return back the three failed test. Not only that their trust on the company will decrease and they can shift to another which they believe. I can talk short history from my experience here, while I was working in Cosmetic Hampshire Perfume Company, when we send the product to Saudi Arabia if they got a small scratch in one bottle the whole pallet they immediately return back to UK. In this case my presence in the company as employer will be at risk. If the company is not alive I will not alive too.

My decision based on the nature of the product being tested and my previous experience of testing in analogue laboratory. I have decided to repeat all the tests from beginning as this is most cost effective. The testing stages are very important as the electronic devices need to reliable and have predictable electronic properties so they can be used in the design of other electronic devices.
• Loss connection: My first step to solve the problem I would start by Checking the board carefully: loss connection between the board and components. Second step to test each component to assure they that they are not damaged as well as if they are the right component for this particular task. The last one is to check short circuit and the power potential. These steps would help to tackle the problem easily.
• Damaged component: Second step to test each component to assure they that they are not damaged as well as if they are the right component for this particular task
• Power consumption: Essentially this scenario creates problem of inadequate managing potential faults with the power consumption, to check short circuit and the power potential.

Furthermore, the situation presents ethical dilemmas. Moreover, selling defective products is ethically wrong. Because it has severe legal consequences, It can be suggested that unless the problem solved as soon as possible the situation could be dangerous for the company in standard measure and for the public in life.
