Solar Cells: PERL Cells

This car was the World Solar Challenge winner in the year 1996. Most of the work was used on to make this car gets this name was in the laboratory of silicon solar cells. It is working on a technique that is called the micro-electronic techniques that gives the cells a power that reaches 25% more observing power than what other cells can observe.

And what is shown in this picture is the PERL CELL that is combined with the body of the Honda Dream, creating a way of observing the solar power from the sun & Developing up an enormous energy to move a whole car form a place to another. Specially with those cells that have given this car the highly performance in that year, to be the fastest solar car.

What do you see here in this picture is the Electro microscope image of a PERL Cell. The benefits that you can get from those kind of cells that is not found in other cells which leads away the electricity, that with both contacts on the rear are easier to be connected and can be closer together because there is no need for a space between the cells because the cell can be combined with each other in the same range.
The studies in the year 2001 in periodical PHOTON has proved that the manufacturing of those solar cells in the whole world has increased to 40% that is for over 400 megawatts and the rates of the companies and firms goes as this:
Japan: 43%
Europe: 25%
U.S: 24%

Why Solar Cells Power is Relevant to Me?

Finding a new source of renewable energy effect every one who lives on this planet, In other words those cells can be used for any kind of experiments and new technology to help providing a new projects and inventions, like the radars that works on the solar power or the power suppliers that provides electricity by the windmills or the watermills. A power like this would be so effectively and more demanded than the others; because those cells can hold the sun power in them for approximately 3 days, so those cells doesn’t stop observing the solar power and it keeps on giving the power.

Plan of Inquiry:

In my opinion I think that the whole world should think of using this power for a greater use more likely for stopping other people from decreasing the other power resorts that is supplying power like gas and petrol. Because those powers can give an advantage like the machinery movement but can give a disadvantages as well like polluting the environment, but this power is harmful and from a pure source that doesn’t end. I plan to email a Solar cell shop or factory representative which would provide me with further data on the PERL Cells
